Easy Crostini

This is a very easy way to make crisp slices of bread for topping with roasted tomatoes and brie.

Ingredients:

  • 1 half-baked baguette

Method:

  1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius if a fan oven (220 if non-fan).
  2. Slice the half-baked baguette into 5mm slices (or thinner if you can manage).
  3. Arrange on a parchment (or silicon sheet) covered baking tray.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Take out of the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack.
  6. Place in an air tight container and use within a day or so, otherwise they start to lose the freshness.

Serves 4 or more.
