Vanilla Whipped Cream

This is a great topping for most desserts and only needs a whipping siphon (or syphon if you spell it that way).

Ingredients:

  • 300ml double cream
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence or paste

Method:

  1. Pour all ingredients into the whipping siphon (the siphon should be of size 500ml or 1 pt).
  2. Put the lid on the siphon and shake well.
  3. Charge they siphon with one charge of gas.
  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before use.

Serves 8 or more.
