A simple tomato and chilli sauce that goes great with grilled meats, especially with a garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 large white onion
- 2 tsp garlic puree (or two crushed cloves)
- 2 red chillis, stalk removed and roughly chopped (but with seeds)
- 1/8 tsp (or a pinch) of sugar
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
Method
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve in a flatbread, spooned over some grilled meats.
