Kebab Chilli Sauce

A simple tomato and chilli sauce that goes great with grilled meats, especially with a garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 large white onion
  • 2 tsp garlic puree (or two crushed cloves)
  • 2 red chillis, stalk removed and roughly chopped (but with seeds)
  • 1/8 tsp (or a pinch) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve in a flatbread, spooned over some grilled meats.
Makes enough sauce for 32 kebabs, but don't worry as it freezes well, just make sure it is fully defrosted before using.
